Operation 52.3 – Corner Market

On a lovely saturday afternoon, Sandy and I embarked to continue our quest. We were a little behind so we decided to double up that day. So we headed out to Corner Market. It is a cute little deli that is squeezed in the middle of a florist and a bakery. So you are hit with magnificent enticing smells from all directions.

When it was time to order, I had it down to 2 choices. Upon suggestion of the guy behind the counter, I chose the The Belmont Chicken Panini. I would definitely say it was a good choice. It was made with chicken, salami, pesto, sundried tomatoes, and provolone cheese. It was all melted together and served with some sweet pickles. The sweetness of the pickles complimented the tartness of the sundried tomatoes. However, I did hit a spot of the sandwich that was heavy on the tomatoes and it overpowered to delicate balance of flavors.
